Thank you firefighter Dave!!!

Firefighter Dave, from the Twin Falls fire department, had an assembly for all of the second grade students. He talked about having a fire escape plan at home. He gave the students a fire safety brochure to take home. It is in their Monday folder. He will make three more presentations during the school year.

Field Trip to Canyon Ridge High School Library

Second graders walked to the high school library and learned more about fiction and non-fiction books. It was a beautiful day for a walk. A thank you goes out to the wonderful parents that walked with us to the library and back to Perrine. Mrs. Johnson, the high school librarian, gave an excellent presentation on how to find books in the library using the Dewey Decimal System and much more. Thank you so much, Mrs. Johnson!

Tears of Joy Assembly

Tears of Joy Theatre presented their awesome version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!
